Indore City Blog is a relocation assistance service operating from Jabalpur, Madhya Pradesh, India. Despite the “blog” in our name, our focus is practical: helping people who live in the United States prepare for a move to India.

Relocating between two countries involves many decisions — when to move, what to bring, which documents to check, and who needs to be contacted along the way. Our role is to help you organize those decisions into a plan you understand, and to communicate clearly about what assistance is available for your situation.

Who We Aim to Help

Our assistance is designed for:

• NRIs returning to India after living and working in the United States.
• U.S. citizens and residents planning to relocate to India.
• Indian families moving back from the U.S. with children or elderly parents.
• Individuals moving with personal belongings only.
• Households planning a long-term relocation and wanting to prepare early.

Our Approach to Relocation Planning

We believe a good move starts with a good conversation. Before talking about a plan or a quote, we want to understand your circumstances: where you are moving from and to, your timeline, who is moving with you, and what you expect to bring.

From there, we focus on three things:

1. Clarity. Breaking the move into steps and identifying what needs to happen before and after you travel.
2. Honest scope. Explaining what we can assist with and being upfront about what must be handled by others, such as licensed moving companies, customs brokers, immigration professionals or tax advisers.
3. Practical coordination. Helping you keep track of tasks, timelines and the information you need to gather.

We do not provide legal, immigration, customs or tax advice, and we are not a government body. Where those topics come up, we encourage you to confirm requirements with qualified professionals or the relevant official authorities.

Because our customers are in the United States and our team is in India, we rely on flexible remote communication:

India Standard Time is roughly 9½ to 13½ hours ahead of the continental U.S., depending on your time zone and daylight saving time, so please allow for the time difference when expecting a reply.
